Hello Moog world. I’m new to Moog but not to synthesis, and recently acquired a Micromoog in fair condition (just needed cleaning on the inside, which I did no problem.) so I cleaned the pots and the buss bar as per a tech’s recommendation (I’m poor). So now I’m left with a problem: the tuners are stable, but they will not tune high enough to be in tune. I have the manual and it says to replace R401 but that’s not really an option. I’m curious if this is a trimpot problem or a circuitry problem. I haven’t tried tuning the filter yet, but the oscillator is very out of tune above high F at 8’. Advice appreciated! Thanks ![]()

You can try and tune your Micromoog correctly using the procedure in this pdf document.

My mod wheel also has been not working. Just replaced the pot and the voltage sent to the LHC chip still changes, so the pot is fine. The ribbon still works but the mod wheel does not. Could this be a wiring harness problem or is it something with one of the circuit boards?
