I have to say before i read the info i was excited at the thought of a new Moog toy…

Without the factory-installed flux capacitor added, a standard MF-104Z will be seriously damaged.

When I dropped my etherwave off last week, they let me try one out. Unbelieveable! MSRP is only $99.99!

I got mine yesterday. By running it through an anti-lag processor, I was able to hear what I will play tomorrow. :laughing:

Yeah once I saw the need for a flux capacitor (I love BTTF), and the date they were shipping I was kinda skeptical. Well thought out though :slight_smile:

I thought - it took them quite a while with the 106… that´s why they reserved the number so long, they tinkered.


but didn´t they give out a clue with that FM Radio moogerfooger? later the freqbox was released.

the big theme here is TIME - what could we get if we have the time based effects delay & phaser already? my guess is a Sequencer. :smiley:

I agree…the big thing is time. Amos stated once, “I believe we’ll have a tap tempo delay before too long…” in a post somewhere on this forum. I wonder… :confused:

I hope they never release a real MF-106, and that they continue to entice us every year with modules we can only dream of.

If they release a sequencer, will it even be labeled MF-10X?

You could DIY a power supply if you had bolt of lightning to generate the 1.21 gw of power necessary, but you have to know precisely when and where lightning is going to strike.

Sometimes I’d like to be able to hear what I play before I play it. What a timesaver!

I just hope they make a new version that will go to 11. That was the only reason I didn’t pick up the FM mofo last year.

Now that’s a MOOG april fool’s joke, and probably speaks very well to Bob’s own sense of humor and sense of play - not to say that I know, I think it just represents the MOOG legacy well.

It’s all about the spiritual connection between us and our MOOGS, and a great satirical way of looking at new pop music talent :smiling_imp:.
