MF-101 Amount Exp pedal input

Anybody messed with this? I’ve been using both EP-2’s and MP-101 with Cutoff and Res for as long as I’ve had this but just today tried to connect up to the AMOUNT and found that the pedal did nothing.

The others are wired up so that there is an offset (ie. pot isn’t just disconnected) but for the life of me, I can’t get the Pedal to do anything while plugged into this jack. (I assumed it would be the exact same deal as the others?)

Any info or experience out there? Could just be dead or shorted out inside?

Thanks.

My EP-1 pedal works just fine on the Amount input of my MF-101.

Like the manual says, the Amount input from the pedal should work just like the Amount knob. With the pedal heel down, turn the Amount knob up and down. Do you hear a difference in the filter cutoff? If so, turn the Amount knob down to zero and now work the pedal up and down. You should hear a similar change in the filter cutoff.

Keep in mind, unlike the Cutoff and Res inputs, that there needs to be a changing envelope follower output (the audio input volume to the filter needs to be changing) for the pedal or the Amount knob to have a big effect on the filter cutoff.
