Hello, I am reaching out for some help with my MM+. I have purchased an updated power supply to replace the existing setup (trans, fan, etc.)
Part of the new PS instructions says to pull U14, bend pin 10 up and reinsert.
On my digital board, U10 already has pin 10 bent up and soldered to a resistor with orange jumper to diode and ultimately to resistor near Q1. This appears to be a factory mod because I have seen the orange wire in the same place on others’ MM+.
My question is: do I leave this in place, or remove completely and then follow the new PS instructions? Also, what exactly is the reason this was done in the first place?
