Can the Software be used within a VST?
My cousin is considering getting a Murf and He was wanting to use reason to control it. Can this be done?

I’m not too familiar with Reason, but all of the MF-105 functions can be controlled with a good MIDI sequencer, I can’t see a reason to need or want to use the Murf editor as a VST instrument. Have him download the .pdf manual, that might be the best way to answer his questions. MIDI notes 48, 50, 52… and MIDI CCs 20-27, those should control almost anything one might want programmed.
Well if you use the editor to control the murf’s patterns and something like reason to modulate paramaters on it or to trigger the editor at various times that could give you more variation i suppose and free yourself up from having to control it yourself.
But I don’t know what he wanted to do with it like that, I told him I would ask.
