Lost Etherwave Transformer and Connection

I lent my Moog Etherwave (self build) Thermin to a friend and he lost the mains lead with its transformer and (six pin DIN) connector.

He (and I) have been unable to locate a replacement (other than a company in NY who claim that ‘Homeland Security’ regulation prevent them from posting it to me).

Can anyone help locate a replacement available in (or postable to) me here in the UK?

Ralph

LOL. You’re kidding!

Have you tried contacting Moog? Seems like they’d probably have some since they sell them!

Homeland Secuirty ?

Looks like Lev’s creation still carries a political stigma …
Even 80 years after he was exiled from the US, there still seems to be issues regarding the Theremin…
If a theremin (and replacement parts) is equal to the “insecurity” of our homeland than whats next ?
EVERYONE, Hide your Moog instruments before big bro steps in  !!!

I’ve heard rumors that Lev added an extra osciallor in there that can read your mind and transmit your brain waves back to the motherland…

lets hope they don’t have any Theremins laying around the Pentagon…

oooo…scary…
