Little Phatty Manual - Out of date?

Hey all,

I got a Little Phatty last weekend.
The manual that came with it has some material that is different from the actual unit.

I wrote Moog Support about this, but they just sent me a link to a .pdf of the same manual.

Here’s one example of a discrepency:

The manual has an ENABLE parameter under Arpeggiator - which I don’t have when I scroll through the menus.
As well, there’s reference to a parameter called LATCH which I don’t have.

My Arpeggiator parameters are:

CLK SRC
CLK DIV
GATE LEN
OCTAVES
PATTERN
MODE

Anyone see the same thing as I do?
As well, has anyone found discrepencies with the manual?

When the LP starts up it shows:
Boot v1.1
Rev 3.12s 680

Thanks

Hi! I don’t know if you already found the LATCH thing… you just have to push the ENTER button while the ARP is ON (wich is done by pushing the rotary knob that select patches, navigate through the menu…).

I haven’t read the OM completely. I did read the things that I needed and weren’t quite simple to achieve by myself.

Cheers!

Hi qwerty (pronouced /azerty/ here in EU  and welcome.

You should check the version the file your talking about is dealing with.
Plus you should consult the Addendum (for V2 or V3, can’t remember…) where some adjustments were redacted.

You really need to get the OS v3.1 addendum ~
the arpeggiator is one of several things that changed quite a bit from the manual, and is applicable to both the Little and Slim Phatty.

Your LP is at the same OS level as mine, and the addendum definitely applies.

If you didn’t get a copy of the addendum with your Phatty, you can request a copy directly from Moog tech support.
For some reason, the addendum is still not posted in the downloads section, but tech support can send you a digital copy.
