Little Phatty Calibration Freeze

I just bought a used 2012 Little Phatty Stage II (LPT006). It seemed like it was a little out of tune, so I performed a calibration. I warmed it up for like an hour, did a full note calibration, then the PW amount, which both finished successfully. Whenever I run the Osc2 Freq calibration my Little Phatty freezes up. The only way I can use the instrument again is to do a factory reset.

I found the above previous post where someone else was having the exact same problem I am having, and he mentioned that the unit had a bad ground that was corrected, which ultimately fixed his synth. I have a lot of experience in electronics, is there a fix that I might be able to try myself? Has anyone else had this problem and successfully resolved it?

I was able to fix my Little Phatty. I thought I would post here what I did, in the event someone else is having this same problem.

I moved the unit to a dedicated outlet I installed recently. I know it has a good ground connection. There is nothing else on this circuit that could cause noise either. I ran all 3 calibrations again and it succeeded!

I’m very happy now! My Little Phatty sounds great, and is an excellent companion for my Sub 37
