LFO Issue

Hi, this is my first post here.

My Voyager Select has an LFO issue and i don’t know what is wrong.

In the last couple of days, my LFO light is not pulsating any more at any speed. It’s just constantly lit and the LFO does not change its frequency when I turn the knob or send a MIDI command from the control software (Soundtower). Did I accidentally deactivate the LFO?

There are no cables plugged into the Voyager other than Stereo L/R, MIDI I/O and mains.

Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance.

The LFO is analog and free running, meaning that it is supposed to cycle all the time. It can be restarted at the start of its cycle with a sync from different sources, but will always be running.

If yours seems stopped, with the speed LED always lit, it is probably defective and I would suggest contacting Moog Music by e-mail about it.

You cannot “deactivate” or “stop” the LFO via the menus or MIDI. The only way to provoke such a “stopped” behavior would be to constantly and rapidly send restart signal to it, which I don’t think you are doing.

I hope for you that it is still covered by warranty.
