Seems the ‘Moog Knob Kit for Knurled Pots’ is discontinued, dead and gone and will not ever be made again?

Can anyone confirm there is no intention by Moog to ever make these or a replacement again? A TRAGEDY if so! OK, small tragedy in the big picture of planet Earth, but as an owner and lover of Moog Eurorack style synths, I am bewildered, heartbroken and deeply frustrated and saddened by this! WHY discontinue these???!!
I know these are but a detail to many people, surely not a big profit for the company and perhaps the bean counters looking to simplify the product lines saw these as nothing more than a pointless accessory and obvious pick for the list of things to cut in the last re-org of the company?
BUT, they really made using these synths a more enjoyable, easier experience. Precise and comfortable tuning was improved dramatically by these knobs compared to small, bare pots!!!
These were a beautiful improvement to the whole Eurorack style line of Moog products!!! I can’t imagine they were unprofitable given the price for 25 small knobs was over $35???!! Granted, perhaps a low volume product, if for no other reason than the formidable price, not to mention the kit count of 25 knobs surely often meant paying another $35 for just a few more knobs depending on which device you were kitting out with the knob upgrade? If they sold in 10 packs for $10 I suspect they would have been much higher volume seller!
Moog! PLEASE BRING THESE BACK IN 10 PACKS!!
Or at least perhaps some simpler, perhaps higher profit margin knob, like maybe without the (lovely!) metal insert on top if need be, to take the place of the discontinued knobs that still looks like it belongs on a Moog, has a quality feel and makes tuning the pots an easier, more precise, comfortable and satisfying experience!
Anyone found a very close generic equivalent knob that doesn’t clash with Moog aesthetics, hopefully looks like it belongs on a Moog? I’ve looked and looked and the only generic I’ve found that looked like it belonged on a moog was too large for most places on the Mother, DFAM, Mavis and were very fiddly to get secured and well aligned on the pots.
I bought one pack to try them out, far from enough for my Mother-32/DFAM sound studio and Mavis, but more than enough for my most commonly used knobs/pot so I felt no urgency to buy more, didn’t even cross my mind they would become unavailable, the Moog Eurorack style line of syths has only been growing, very popular and well loved?! I fully intended to buy enough for all pots on the three synths, but life distracted from the synths for some time and later I only saw these out of stock or at wildly inflated prices over the not exactly cheap standard prices. Even later I checked and seemed “out of stock” was be replaced by “Discontinued”. I checked again today to see if any were to be found on ebay or Reverb and I found none available anywhere at any price.
If Moog will never make them again, I sure hope someone. perhaps a generic seller on ebay/Amazon, perhaps a rather nasty company who’s name starts with B and ends in G, but I hope SOMEONE makes a very similar product to fill the gap on the market, and the gaps on my Moogs! I wish that would be Moog, but I’ll take what I can actually get!
