Eri

Glad to see you are on twitter.

Do you know Isao Tomita, Kitaro, and my common feature?
The hometown is the same.
It is Aichi Prefecture in Japan.
Coincidence.
Dr. Moog also visited.

Eri

No but ive been to Nagoya (airport) twice and Tokyo (Airport) twice.

I would have loved to have met Dr. Moog. ALl I have is an email from him saying “Were not interested in this product direction at this time” lolol. I had tried to give HIM of all people an idea for a synth.

How did you come about meeting him or tell us the story of the modular in your photo?

Eric

I love Kitaro! Very talented synthesist. Had no idea he was from your hometown. :astonished: Cool!

RE: Tomita. If you can find a copy of it (never released in the US), get Tomita’s “Sound Creature.” It’s just like Carlos’ “Secrets of Synthesis.” Very interesting to hear those great tracks broken down!

PS, Eri has a great theremin Willie Nelson cover (of “Peaceful Solution”) here: http://willienelsonpri.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/APeacefulSolutionEriIi.mp3

Thanks for the link, bunnyman! Great cover, Eri!
