I wonder if Rekon & Moog are aware that Apple are no longer going to support 32bit in future versions of Logic most developers have been warned by Apple via email.
UPDATE, I’VE CONTACTED REKON SUPPORT AND AWAIT THEIR REPLY.
I just bought the VST editor and I’m running Logic 9. I was curious as to how you set it up. I have everything working i.e. I have MIDI data from my Akai MPK into Logic, to the vst editor. And I can send MIDI info from the SLim Phatty to the vst editor. My problem is I cannot hear anything. I’m not sure if I’m missing a step, but the Slim Phatty is connected via USB. Do I still need to connect the 1/4" out into my soundcard?
Yes you need to connect a 1/4" to your soundcard, the USB transmits Midi only not Audio
You then need to create a Mono Audio track in logic so you can hear the sound of the Phatty (make sure the track is armed, the “I” button should be orange)
You also need to create a Midi track to open the editor.
The editor does everything it says on the tin, control your little Phatty from within your DAW like it was a plugin if you like the idea of controlling little phattys parameters via your DAWs automation then the editor is well worth buying.
Can’t really comment on workflow as I’ve only tested to see if the editor works and not produced any tracks with it yet, on testing I ran into zero problems
Thanks cane creek… can I ask a view more questions?
Does it pop up in the efx menu as well, the slim phatty takes audio in right, so how does the synth plug work with the ext audio, I didn’t see any reference to EXT audio on the graphic interface ? :0
And what happens if you stack a second unit on top with the editor… and and and and
