Looks like dave smith has beat moog to a new polysynth keyboard, its gonna be launced at namm and has 4 voices. Smith has even nicked the blue backlit wheels from the voyager! its war!!!
That is a product I’d be interested in.
Maybe Dave would do a backlit panel version… that WOULD be war!!! 
yeah that would be war. i wonder if those backlit wheels are a deliberate ploy to anger moog or if it is just flattery!
anyway, the fact mr smith has shown his hand first will surely give moog the opportunity to make sure that any potential polysynth in development can tackle the evolver head on.moog are gonna have to launch a poly soon to remain at the forefront. lets see what happens at namm.
Alesis put backlit wheels in the Ion two years ago.
A Moog polysynth? Don’t count on it. In an interview he was about about them and his response was “We can build them… but we’re not going to.”
I’ll be at NAMM, so we’ll see what is coming up.
