I normally play Moog, but I built a sound installation

Hi everyone, Ive posted a few times regarding Moog synth stuff, but this time I wanted to share a project I worked on for about a month and a half in which I basically installed a floor to ceiling wire that used a CapSense setup to control oscillators running in a computer program I put together. There is also a contact mic that picks up vibrations from the wire. Im just very excited about it and thought some of you might like to check it out!

I know its not exactly Moog, but there is no way I would have ever put something like this together if I hadn’t been playing Moog synthesizers for the past 7 years.

Enjoy!

That is a lot of fun!! Did I see some arduino code in the trailer?

Thank you for sharing. This is a Moog forum but this does not mean we don’t do anything else and we don’t wan to share with cool people here

Thanks! Yeah, I feel like most people I meet who play synthesizers are also into other interesting creative things. And yeah, actually the code in the video is from a Processing program I put together that picks up the data coming from Arduino board that is running a CapSense program to pick up from the wire when people touch it. Super fun stuff to play with.
