I got a brain cheap, but now I need a way to control it. I’ve got a Voyager and a Korg MS20, but no info on what’s in that damned proprietary cable.
Any suggestions?
If you have the VX-351 you could use the Voyager. It will depend on the gate on the T2 though, as the Voyager is V-trigger. The MS-20 is Hz/Volt not Volt/Octave so the keyboard won’t scale properly.
The easiest way might be to get an e.g. Kenton MIDI/CV converter as it covers all of your bases.
They say the Taurus 2 was something like a Rouge without the keyboard. Have fun!
But you want to know what’s on the cable, right? At a guess:
+5-10V output, to power the pedals
KB CV in
Gate in
Ground
With a bit of fiddling I’m sure you could figure it out. A variable voltage source, even a CP-251 might help you. Or perhaps buy the manual somewhere.
