I know how to toggle with the cursor to the MIDI channel options… But I am not sure how to find 16 sounds a lock them all in on their own midi channel so when I sequence in my MPC2500 I can scroll threw the channels on my MPC and have the sounds I assign come up.
Maybe I don’t understand your question right but you do realize that the LP is a monosynth and isn’t multi-timbral, right? It can only play one note on one channel at a time.
Yes I do realize that it is a monophonic synth…
All I want to do is record one sound at a time into my MPC2500 with out losing the patch I selected when I move to the next sound on the phatty..
Basically what I am asking is, is it possible to record a sounds into my MPC2500 using 16 patches on 16 seperate channels (1 patch per channel)and going to my play back on the MPC and hearing all of the sounds I selected?
No the LP is not multi-timbral..it will not play a patch on channel one and a differnet patch on channel two at the same time.
Couldn’t you get the MPC to send patch change data to the LP in stead, using the same channel?
To put this more precisely, the LP has no multi-channel set-up. You can only assign one midi channel to the LP and you do this in the Master settings. There is no way to assign different channels to different patches. Midi channel is not saved with the individual patches.
