How many green little phatties are there in the world?

Just that.

…and which is the rarest one? The orange one, or the blue?

I am talking about stage ii with CV out, but I suppose the question can be interpreted differently :sunglasses:

For that matter, how many purple? Bernie was presented with one (to match his funky purple gloves and chapeau) but I think I saw somebody selling them at some point.

Which orange?
I have a LP Solar CV I picked up from Sweetwater shortly before the LP was discontinued.

Definitely not green, however…

Time to come clean, I have a green one with CV out which I love ! I know there are various different colours, I want to know how common they are compared to the “normal” ones. If I didn’t have a green one I would like a Solar one, or one of the purples. Or one of each.

not that this is an answer to your green phatty question but i also picked up a orange /solar phatty from sweetwater actually the day before the sub37 was announced and my serial # is 11676 so i dont know if that is how many they made of that version or how many were made the year it was made?? don’t even know what the serial # to date breakdown is. all i know is that when i do get a chance to play it i love that thing!!

Mine is 10503, but I don’t think that the serial numbers of Phatties are differentiated by clour scheme

Rezzurrecting this thread I was hoping somebody knew the answer?

Just discovered the existence of the “redback” phatty, is that the rarest?

I don’t think so either. The first 1200 are the tributes. I have a Stage II and my serial number is 04793. It’s the dark/grey one with grey sidepanels, which are now switched to black sidepanels when i got the CV out mod installed. Gorgeous.

I think the solar/orange is also great looking, but i still prefer my dark Stage II. The solar/green/red/blue ones may be more rare obviously, which may result in higher used prices as well.

When I got the CV-update on my Phatty Moog put on black side panels for me as well. And here I thought I had the only one like that in the world.

It does look nice with the black side panels, doesn’t it?

Is the red fairly rare? I know the red back was made for Australia, which is a pretty select market but maybe they’re available elsewhere too?

If you hand paint it, it will be the rarest of all.

I know this isn’t a particularly profound line of enquiry. I am just interested.

True that if I handpaint it it would be completely unique. But it’s pretty perfect already! :stuck_out_tongue:
