how can I process audio or vsti's through slim filter

just got a new cable so I could filter audio or vsti’s through the slim
was think it would be easy but its had me head up the wall

using Ableton 8
sound card is Focusrite pro 24

Plug a short cable hooked up to nothing into the gate or use a footswitch. That will open up the gate. Turn both osc all the way down. Adjust the volume of the input instrument to taste. You may need a preamp if the instrument level is too low.

thanks mate think i have it working filter was workin but sound sounded bit werid

also make sure volume envelope DECAY value is right down – there’s a quirk in Bob’s Voyager envelope design (which we also used in the Phatty), such that the sustain level will gradually bleed away to nothing if the Decay level is too high.

Work great now. was wondering why it kept bleeding out
