We need a DAW for synth players not engineers or producers with an AI production assistant to handle mixing and mastering chores loaded with all the Moog plugins so creating and exploring could be the focus . All these daws out there are trying to be a full recording studio and it’s too distracting to be focused on the repetitive mixing , plug in management, and mastering to broadcast spec . so AI has nothing to do with making sounds or music just to assist in getting the track out at broadcast level . Logic has auto mastering now but no assistant for mix finalizing. I think it would be the most popular DAW .
Hello mate. I have just stumbled upon this post. Interesting point. I’m not going to say anything specific as I am still new here and learning.AI is a sticky topic especially in the production of music.
Your comments though were very interesting. Without sounding like an historian. Technology changes over time and we either adapt to it or continue to use older technology. I don’t want to annoy anyone with my comment but. The bad boy below

This is what makes me laugh. Companies are making plugins and apps that can generate the same sound as the original.
Ultimately, these synthesizers are not just historical relics; they define the actual sonic vocabulary that modern artists use to build the music of tomorrow. Back to your original point about AI. If used properly it will make everything we do better.
