I posted this topic few hours ago and i dont see the the topic on forum so i will post it once more (maybe it was my mistake or the topic needs to be accepted for new members).
Anyway, i am interested in purchasing my first Moog because i heard all the great stories about it while i was in audio engineering school.I started producing electronic music and i considered option in buying some hardware gear.So my first choice if Sub Phatty because i like what you get for the price and it is great to start exploring analog synthesis. But i have some insecurity about it… My goal is to produce '‘emotional music.’'This means i prefer nice sounding pads and leads that are pleasant for the ears (with addons of deep bass lines) ; best example would be the following :

All the videos i found just talk about what each module does and the sound demo sounded really ‘‘crap*y’’ (those overbuzzing super mario types of sounds).I know you get with Patch editor some presets to start with but i never heard something pleasant. So i just wonder can you make something like this :

I hear some presets from sub phatty in this track but i wonder can u make something on your own that can sound really pleasant ? (ofcourse with add on of Ableton effects).I know this is kind a noobish question for you guys, but i just think it is weird that most people shows same sounds over and over again.Thanks in advance
