It’s a shame really, those are really deep scratches! 
At least the timber side cheeks seem to be un-damaged.

That’s probably when the scratches occured. lol
The shame of it is not the scratches, but rather that somebody who likely bought it new is parting with it already and moving it at that low price.
As for why we need to see the bottom, I guess he’s being thorough. Good one, Eric!
We don’t know the reason why the guy is off-loading his T3, it may be that he needs the funds to buy some other piece of musical equipment that at this particular moment in time is more important.
I think for most us the very thought of getting rid of our precious acquisition is horrifying!
