Hoping somebody can clear something up for me.
I am having trouble syncing Grandmother to the Elektron Model Samples.
I can set Grandmother as the clock and use a midi cable to sync Samples. Adjusting the ARP/SEQ rate will affect the tempo of Sample as will hitting the Play button on Grandmother. It seems to work as it should.
However, when I try to make Sample be the clock, Grandmother does not respond to either the tempo clock or the start/stop function. I have set it up in the Global setting for Follow and Start/Stop:
- Hold + Sync
- G#0
- F0
I’ve also tried only Follow as well as different channels using the F#1 option, but Grandmother just refuses to follow the Samples clock in any way.
I am a newbie to the synth world, so this is possible that I am just missing something so I am hoping that somebody has a little advice on what might be happening or what I am doing wrong.
