Yay, pedals are nearly on the way!
I think I win on the shipping costs though:
US$502
Nm, they will be well worth it!!!

If you want to call that a “Win”…Holy crap…
Let us know how they survived the trip…
For that cost you should get a free hard case and a bowl of soup… Oh wait, that will cost another $500 to ship!

All shipping ribbing aside, congratulations. I live by the moto “You get what you pay for” and I do believe no matter what the cost is to get them to you it will be worth it. I’m just jelous…
Heh, kinda makes $17 shipping on a shirt seem fine, doesn’t it? ![]()
You can see why I didn’t order the case ![]()
And then there’s GST (“VAT”) at 12.5%.
But I still think I’m getting the best bass $ can buy, so, yes, it’s totally worth it.
My local (read: monopolistic) music store will probably carry one for about double what I can get it in for, so I’m still winning.
Can’t wait!
Oh, you didn’t know? When the Taurus is “down under” on the bottom side of the world, it only puts out “trebley” sounds, sorry.
Sorry I win
Shipping: $597
Anyway I’m going to do some modifications on the order… ![]()
Ohh man! You beat me!
Well, I just checked FedEx and, yup, it’s no lie.
USPS 6-10 days cuts the price in half. I’ve asked Siobhan if it would be possible to use them.
Any other carriers you can think of?
Andy
Edit: Neekau, that seems an awful lot, considering mine have to travel around twice the distance yours do (?). Here’s mine:
That is quite far!
You’re mean pout
I guess I’ll just have to wait for the world tour to hear the full potential then.
Anyway, I’ll let you know how they sound to me ![]()
I’m considering loading some bass amps onto a truck and riding around causing mayhem.
