Forget about “got milk”, this is some collection of vintage gear. I’m not sure that anybody except a millionaire (or the guy that also buys the $40K modular) will buy this because while you might really be jones’ing for one, two or three of these, you won’t need all of them…
The seller is also mistaken in his description of the Moog dual VCO rack.
He says “The Moog Dual Voltage Controlled Oscillator was built in very limited quantities by the Moog Custom Engineering Department A.K.A. Modusonic which has 2 Ultra-Stable VCOs based on the 3rd Revision of the Minimoog 921A VCO With Temp Comp UA 726 Matched Differential Pair Transistors.”
In truth, the 921A is only a simple driver, not an oscillator and neither the 921A nor the 921B oscillator has a uA726 at all.
So while the dual VCO rack might well be fashioned after the later Minimoog oscillator board, the inference that any of these are based on 921s is false.
Yes its the same one i posted in my “vocoder wanted” tread.
Way over my buget unfortunatly.
Gonna contact him after the auction.
He might sell it seperatly.
Thanks for the info on the dual vco Kevin. Dident know about that.
Joe Rivers of Audio Playground had a schematic for the dual VCO. I saw it and it is very similar to ua726 minimoog oscillator. Wish I had gotten a copy of that, he had some real obscure schematics.
