Wonder if the GL MiniMoog will sell out since it’s been substantially lowered in price
There were only 500 made .
Wonder if it will affect 2022 MiniMoog Model D pricing since the Geddy Lee MiniMoog is $2,500 dollars cheaper now.

I just bought one. 
I bought a reissued Model D 10 years ago but had to return it. It had a mind of its own or a ghost inside playing it, I dunno what….but it scared me off and I never replaced it…..until now. So far so good with this GL edition. It works like a champ and I love the color! Thanks to the price drop it cost me the same as it did 10 years ago.
But I’m confused, because I’ve read there were only 500 made, but my serial number is 525. WT..?

I remember someone on Reddit who purchased a Geddy Lee MiniMoog had a serial number higher than 500 as well. Seems like they did a run of more than 500.
I picked one up too.
I’ve owned 3 originals at different points in life.
Last one was in 2004 when I sold it to buy a Voyager.
Always missed it so this was perfect timing for me.
One thing I noticed right away when playing it the outside wood post for the pitch and mod wheels is not rounded over but a sharp corner and digs into my palm. The inside edge is rounded over.
Anyone else have this going on?
that’s by design - I’ve just looked at my own “Geddy Lee” synth and is identical to your pictures
Okay good to know.
But all of the Mninmoogs I’ve owned in the best both edges where rounded.

I just checked a bunch of pictures of current Minimoogs and both edges are rounded on the 2022 versions.
I think somebody just missed rounding the edge on a few.
