I would like to control my moog SP with another keyboard which output a +15V High Gate CV. Gate low is 0V, Gate high is +15V uncalibrated, as the SP Is expecting a +5V Gate signal, should i use an attenuator or would the moog sp handle it internally ?
I would not go that hot. +9V no problem. 12V, maybe. Attenuate it down to be safe. I think I remember reading on here 15V was the absolute upper limit. That was on the LP, I am not sure if the CV ins on the slim are any different.
Also, if you have trouble triggering the phatty, increase the gate length on your trigger. It can miss very short trigger times.
