Freq Box question

i know that no one has actually been able to use the freq box, but i was wondering if the Voyager or Lil Phatty can already to what it does? Can you input a sound into the Voyager and have one of its oscillators perform in the same way?
just curious.

You can route audio through the Voyager’s filters (+VCA?) but the freqbox uses a new technique to hard sync to an audio signal.

thanks for your reply latigid on. i am familiar with routing ext signals through a synths filters. i just wasnt sure about the hard sync issue, as well as the oscillator of the synth producing an actual sound based on the input.

You can also input an external audio signal into the CV or Filter CV input for FM, as on the Freq Box. Just no hard sync.
