I think the Moog Matriarch has unfortunately been discontinued; Thomann and Music Store have removed it from their listings. I contacted Thomann, and they told me they wouldn’t be getting any more Matriarchs—does anyone know anything about this?
Yes, I just talked to my sales rep at Sweetwater and he said the same. They are all out of stock and apparently Moog told them it is being discontinued.
Surely there is a new synth coming to take its place. Another old woman. Queen Elizabeth III, definitely.

I liked it lol, but I think it’s going to follow the Messenger model. I don’t think it’ll be anything semi-modular—that’s just my two cents.
sad if it’s true. that semi-modular lane felt special. curious what they put in its place, if anything.
I just hope the new Moog Queen keeps the analog delay and maybe adds some more VCAs/envelopes.

Anyone know if the black matriarchs that’s on the market right now are older products or recently produced?
