How come I can’t patch either of the Mod buses to Ext. Audio Level? Why you may ask?
Well, I have the VX351/CP251 with my voyager and have upgraded to OS 3.4, and I would like to use the filter envelop to control the level of effects. For example, I could run the voyager’s right single back into a distortion pedal, and then into the external audio, and have the distortion slowly envelope into the note. You can do this with Mooger Foogers with a CV controlled mix level, but not other pedals.
You could also use this with other sounds, so if you had a second sound source, synced up, you could have a second note added in to the mix via the envelope, or have it tremolo wihle the voyager sound is constant.
As you can already do this to the other mixer levels, could this be an easy fix in 3.5? anybody got any patch ideas how to make this work in the meantime?
Can you set the volume envelope to Ext. Audio level using the menu? I can’t remember if it is a destination or not. Quite probably it could be made into one, eh Rudi?
Lol, it’s hard being away from one’s Voyager. What I meant is, is it possible to use a mod buss with an envelope as source/shaping and route to Ext. Audio Level?
I just had a look at my manual, and I think I can patch the filter envelope into mod1 or 2 pedal input and pot map it to External Audio. I will give it a try tonight, and report back if it works.
