Hi,
How do I set up the envelope to “morph” from sawtooth to triangle?
Theoretically: a) make your OSC produce sawtooth wave, b) make one of the MOD busses tell filter ENV (source) to control WAVE (destination), c) set your filter amount to a negative value.
Now, attack should be at 0, decay is the rate of the morph and sustain (along with amount pot on the MOD bus and filter negative amount) control how far the waveform changes from the initial SAW.
Mind you, I don’t have the thing in front of me so I can’t verify this. But trust your ears…
Kind regards,
Sid
a)
set the wave shapes to triangle (fully CCW)
b)
set second mod bus to (from top to buttom):
ON
WAVE
Filt. ENV.
Adjust the AMOUNT to get the sawtooth wave by using max sustain on the filter envelope during adjusting.
Now set the filter envelope to zero ATTACK and SUSTAIN. Now use the decay/release for the morphing time from sawtooth to triangle.
Thank you, works great,
Can I have a filtered saw crossfade to an unfiltered triangle controlled by the envelope?
Use the very same as above and ad at the same time the same envelope with a negative amount to the filter. You need to adjust the filter cutoff and the negative amount right.
