effects loop jack

hi

i would like to loop an effect using the effects loop jack. i am not sure how to do this. do i need a stereo adapter with one male end and two female ends (so the effects out can go out through one hole and back in through the other?). how does the effects loop work? the graphic in the manual just shows a loop but doesn’t say what kind of cables need to be used.
any advice is rgeatly appreciated.

thanks,
martin

The Mix/Out loop (effects loop) is an insert point (on a TRS jack) on the Voyager’s back panel that allows you to use a standard TRS Insert Cable to place a signal-processing device in the path between the Voyager’s Mixer output and the Filter input.

You can read more about the Mix/Out loop and connections in the article entitled “Kicking It Up A Notch” on SquareWave. You can also get information about making an Insert Cable from standard adapters (no soldering) in the article entitled “Building a Mix/Out Cable”, also on SquareWave.
