Dynamic Swelling on Sub Phatty

I’m very new to synthesis. My first ever synth, the Sub Phatty, just arrived this past Wednesday. I’ve been throughly enjoying it. When I started using it today, however, anytime I used the active panel, I would get slow dynamic fluctuations. Every fifteen seconds or so, it would go from full volume to near nothing, and then back again. I made sure the modulation was off, but after a while of manipulating controls without successfully changing anything, I neutralized all settings (turned down oscillators, set frequency of osc 2 to 0, opened filter, ect.). I checked each oscillator to see if they were causing a problem. Somehow, the swelling had been fixed. So i started playing without adjusting any settings. Withing two minutes, the fluctuations had come back. I have no idea whst to do

Beating/little detuning?
It happens when two oscillators are very close in frequency.

To check if this is what you hear, just set the OSC2 to HARD SYNC without changing anything else. This will couple the two oscillators without causing beating. But some beating within the 0.1 to 1 Hz is part of the typical synthesizer sound, as this gives a sound a more bold character.

Welcome to the wonderful world of synthesizers!
