Hey guys
I’m a bass player who’s just discovering the wonderful world of MOOG!
I love my Little Phatty Stage II and am still figuring out my way around it. So, forgive my newbie question:
I’m trying to work out how to create a 2-octave ‘slide’ in a live situation. The example is here:

Check the intro of the song… that’s what I’m talking about.
So, I could think of a couple of ways:
Use a foot control pedal to manipulate the pitch. Can the range be adjusted via the advanced control panel?
Use the glide feature… engage it just for the slide then disengage afterwards?
Thanks, your suggestions are welcomed!

Option #2 sounds the best to me. Just my opinion. Or you can use the pitch wheel in +12 -12 mode. Change the pitch wheel settings in the Advanced Menu. Check out the manual for more info on that. Edit: my “1” button was sticking…for those wondering why I would suggest a 2-note change for a 2-octave glide.

Turn the glide all the way up.
I find if I set the pitchwheel to -12 +12 and use the foot pedal as a pitch controller I can recreate the effect with a decent amount of control.
The foot pedal on it’s own seems to bump the pitch up to a 6th of the origianl note. Does anyone know how to adjust this?
Thanks

Do you have the EP-1? If so, it’s not adjustable. The EP-2 has a knob on the side you can use to adjust the sweep amount.
Ahh I see - I must have the EP-1. Thanks for the response!
