Hey everyone!
This is my first post here, so bare with me if I sound a bit nooby… Anyway, I decided to join this site because I will probably be buying a Slim Phatty soon and thought I should become a member here, in case I need help down the track. As it turns out, I need help now.
Before I buy the SP I was wondering if I could use an M-Audio KeyStudio midi controller to be able to play the SP manually. If so, how would I do that, what cords do I need etc. This is also my first synthesizer, and judging by what I’ve read, it looks like a good place to start. But I don’t want to get this purchase wrong, because it would be a pain to re-sell it or buy a new midi controller.
If it is relevant, I will also soon be purchasing Logic for my mac. How would I go about recording from the SP into Logic. Any other relevant information would be great. Thanks!
P.S - If you have better suggestions for a midi controller, they would be great too!
