Do i have analog control over synth parameters?

Im trying to beat match osc 3 impulse train to 120 bpm, but strugle to hit the exact beat like I do with analog turntables.
Is it analog or actually stepped?

Thanks

On a regular Voyager you have digital control over an analogue sound source.
On a Voyager Old School you have analogue controls and analogue sound source.
What do you mean by “impulse train” ?

I have the osc 3 play regular bandlimited impulses at 120bpm. I also use that as source for frequency modulating osc 1, and then again again syncing osc 2.
I get all sorts of cool portamento/crescendo like sounds that I want to be in perfect sync with my (tr)drummachine

Ok, I have RME? IS THE knobs first aded and then daed? weird

Thanks

Most (99% + x) analog synths with digital patch memory (not the hardware thing like the CS80) scan the knob and A/D the values for the display and store thing. And they pass the scanned value back to the analog sound engine by D/Aing the data again.
Scanning the direct analog connected pots would be possible. But how to switch off each and every pot when calling a patch from memory?

So this method of A/D and D/A might sound strange at the first moment. But think ahead and it makes sense again.

The Little Phatty claims to use a direct mode. But only for 4 knobs.
