I went through the forum but can’t find anything about this, is there a way to disable or enable the master midi control volume and by the way all midi out (yes i know i should unplug it !). The way i use the Voyager is the master and beside is a Kurzweil Micropiano. The Micropiano has a very low output level so you need to have it quiet loud in the mixer, but when connected to the Voyager, my master on the V is set to 5 so half the level for the Micropiano too resulting of nearly no sound.
I don’t want to try to make more gain to my mixer to compensate as i will get more noise too !
Moog products generally have ‘hot’ outputs but you should be able to adjust the mixer gain for each input to get the level you need. Turn the gain down on the Voyager channel & turn up the gain on the micropiano. Gain is not the same as the fader level.
If that does not work you might try an in-line pad on the voyager using a trs adapter. Estimate the level difference between the 2 synths and pad the louder one down. Sweetwater sells whirlwind pads in 10 dB increments, pick the one closest to the level difference. http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IMPpad20
Hi Normann,
you could use the 3.6 beta version. With this version you can switch on/off all MIDI controllers separately.
My second post on this page shows where you can download the 3.6 version: http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=22525
