DFAM Pitch Issue

Hello,

I have a question about my DFAM. It works well overall, but there’s one issue: the second pitch knob on the sequencer isn’t functioning properly. Each time it triggers, it plays a lower pitch until it’s almost all the way down, even though I’m not adjusting it manually. Wiggling the knob temporarily fixes it, but it gradually drifts back down again. All of my other pitch knobs are working fine. Does anyone know what might be causing this problem?

Sounds like an interrupted connection. This may be the wiper inside the pot that doesn’t touch the resistance properly, in that case cleaning the inside of the pot may help. Or it can be that the pot isn’t soldered correctly on the board. There’s also a small chance that it’s a PCB track that’s not entirely good, but given that wiggling the pot helps, this probably isn’t the issue.
