CV/gate out mod for Taurus I

I need a simple CV/gate output mod for my Taurus I. I ran across this Synthfool diagram:

I do not need a linear CV (exponential is fine) so a much simpler CV out circuit will work.

Any ideas/suggestions?

The mod is for a 1 V/oct exponential output.

The original Taurus works with V/HZ (linear). And these V/Hz only work with a very few MIDI interfaces and some earlier Korg and a few other synths.
