I have the chance of buying a second hand cp-251…
The guy says its almost new, it has the white rings instead of red nuts on the panel…
Serial No. 1755

Anyone know when Moog changed over to the white rings…?

The white ring ones have the added bonus of the attenuators can invert.
Very good addition to the 251

My unofficial guess would be around 2005 or 2006. The years, not serial numbers. But I could be wrong. I bought mine in '07, and it’s got white rings.

i think it was 07, but yeah the inverted attenuator is a must
