controlling Sub37 by MIDI (cc2 espoecially)

Hi
I want toi control volume with midi (dIN - from an akai ewi) cc2 breath control but just cant work out how

controlling with midi volume output (cc7) produces an unpleasantly stepped sound - the steps actually cause a grating sound - hoping cc2 will do a better job

any ideas folks?

Maybe use one mod buss as follows:

Source: constant on
Destination: VCA
Set a positive amount on the Mod 1 amount knob (programmable destination).

Then in the controllers menu for that buss, set breath control to 100%

You’ll probably need to set a relatively low sustain level on the amp envelope too in order to get a change volume when blowing harder.
