Phaser and cp-251 patch in phaser manual, I think called “phaser rhythm”, creates a cool percussive (or more like bubbly) sound with variable speed and rhythm. Hook the out put through your filter and ring mod, you have a very cool drum machine.

If you have a Midi Murf, it has a breakbeat pattern programmed in it. With the software and some practice, you can program your own patterns in it and create our own “beats”.
