I should send the videos to Ben Burtt (the guy who created many of the Star Wars sounds)…
He’d probably be into it. I remember reading about one of the sound designers accidentally creating some infrasound rumble that made a bunch of the crew get really sick; not sure if it was him or someone else. I’m pretty sure it was the guy who came up with the lightsaber sounds (super8 film projector through an Arp 2600 lowpass filter, I think).
I pretty sure I heard that R2D2’s voice was an Arp 2600, too.
I heard that big bass-drop the Death Star makes when the laser is being charged up was a Minimoog…
