I own a minimoog Voyager (not the RME) and both the CP-251& VX-351. I would like to add two more CP-251s rackmountable and I wondered where they would get their power? From two wall-warts…or from daisychaining the both so there could only be 1 power supply.

Each CP-251 needs power from somewhere. If you use two wall warts, thats fine. If you want to use one power supply and daisy chain, make sure that the power supply can supply enough power for two CP-251s.. The manual is a little vague on how much the CP uses… it says no less than 100 mA, but minimum 200 mA… Shrug…
I would say if you want to be on the safe side and daisy chain em, make sure your PS can provide 400mA of current at 9-12V (but thats conservative depending on how you read the manual)…
This is actually how I power 5 of my MFs and a CP-251… I got a 9V power supply that can provide 2A (aka 2000mA), then split out the power cables to each connector… I made it in such a way i still have 2 more plugs for expansion.
