Can anyone help me out

Hows it going guys, is anyone able to run audio to the minitaur for processing from ableton like in Amos’s video, iv’e followed the videos to the letter but nothing happens when the external audio effect is fully wet, it just fades out the sample, then nothing, even after tweaking the hardware.

Im using a Saffire pro 24

Hardware Routing
-Minitaur Out - Input 3 (Saffire)
-Minitaur In - Output 6 (Saffire)

Ableton Setup
-Audio Channel with acoustic guitar sample & an External Audio Effect device
-The device is routed, “Audio To 6” and “Audio from 3”

Then i turn the dry/wet up on the device and no filter or modulation gets applied to the sample.
The “EXT Audio In” in the editor is at %100, i’m completely lost with this and really need someone to help me out as iv’e been sat this for two days now

Am i missing something under the hood?
Its my first bit of external gear and i’m itching to get it to run smooth.

Heres a screen shot of my channels in ableton

And the Saffire mix control

You know, that you have to trigger and hold a note on a Minitaur with max, amplifier’s envelope sustain to hear a sound passing through?

The VCA is after the filter. And it is not open, unless the envelope is doing something. So it is only natural to open the VCA by triggering it. And holding a not will keep the steady envelope sustain stage active. Set it to max for maximum signal to noise ratio when using the Minitaur as filter box.

On the MInimoog, Waldorf Pulse, the mighty Waldorf WAVE, and many other synths you have to trigger notes too.
