can a moogerfooger do this sound? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlNp1RDCYSU

can an expression pedal control a moogerfooger phaser’s filter effect? i know it’s not a ‘filter’ but the ‘swooshing’ effect that the phaser does.
-
I assume you are talking about processing a guitar. I doubt any combination of moogerfoogers will give you a sound like that. Thats a very aggressive synth sound. To get that sound you will need some sort of synthesizer (a TB-303?) or a guitar synth or something.
-
Do you mean using the expression pedal to sweep the phaser like a wah-wah pedal? If so, then yes you can.
-
v. doubtful, but the little phatty can do 18db/oct or 3-pole low pass filtering, ie overdriven TB-303 sounds, such as that.

mf-103 has cv inputs for sweep, resonance, lfo rate modulation, and lfo amount modulation. the swoosh noise comes from the modulation of the sweep, so yeah that’s totally doable. just drop amount knob to zero and you’re free to swoosh manually.
