cable(s) needed to download OS onto my LP stage 1 ?

I have a LP stage 1 that I’d like to download the current OS onto, primarily for the arpeggiator feature. My LP only has midi (and analog) connections, so what type of cable will I need to connect a computer to my LP ? I’m not too computer savvy and will be doing this at a friend’s house (he’s no computer genious either).

You can use any midi-usb interface that has separate in and out midi connections.
I have some different ones, both cheap and not so cheap, and I can’t notice any different between them.

Thanks for the info, guys. Once I get the cable are there any precautions to be aware of when doing the actual download ? I’m looking forward to having an arpeggiator on my LP !
