So I just got a new Matriarch and everything feels pretty solid except for the most important knob on the synth - the filter knob!
Now, after reading up on it, I’m aware that the knob purposefully has less resistance than the other knobs - this makes sense.
But in addition to that, when applied with some light pressure, the knob can be wiggled up and down:
I took the pot off, and its the shaft itself that is moving.
Is this normal? Sweetwater would let me return it for a “repair”, but I’m wondering if this just might be how it’s designed.
Anyone with existing Matriarch’s - does you filter knob do a little dance also?
