books?

Hey everyone I am kind of new to analog synthesis I know about the different functions on the voyager to an extent (the basics). I know there are quite a few books out there on synthesis. I was wondering if any of you could inform me of a book that possibly helped you along the way to better understand how to use cvs, modulation and analog synthesis? or multiple books. I like to learn as much as I can about this stuff. thanks in advance for your time and wisdom.

Here’s a great resource!

Allen (R.I.P.) Strange’s Electronic Music Systems (either edition 1 or 2). It was used as a college textbook, so it’s pretty good. Good luck finding a copy, though… Prentice Hall had an electronic textbook version of Edition 2 a few years ago, but it’s OOP now. Unfortunately, my copy is heavily DRMed, and it says that I can’t use it in my updated OS since I used up my privileges. Yet, if I start up in the old OS, I can read it… Thanks, Adobe Digital Editions. You’re aces. :unamused: Glad I found a copy of Edition 1 in a used bookstore in Vermont.
