The keyboard looks like it may just be an empty box with nice wood.

That’s the touchpad he made with Big Briar. I have a keyboard magazine ad from back in the 80s. It became part of the Voyager years later. Same 3D action, CV/trigger outputs only.
As for the keyboard, I don’t know.
