A more than well deserved honor, for such a dedicated man that we miss so much.
The patent dating back to the sixties, you would have thought that the United States Patent and Trademark Office would have done that years ago, especially before he died ? 
BTW, on the second link, they can’t even spell the name of the patent right: “Electronic High-Pass and Low-Pass Filters Employing the Base to Emitter Diode Ristor for Bi-Polar Transistors”, what the hell is a “Ristor” ?? 
“Resistance” is the proper word here. Geez!
